'May He have mercy': 4 reactions to death of fmr. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards
Barack Obama, Lila Rose offer condolences, prayer for her soul
Sidewalk Advocates for Life

In response to the news Monday that Richards had died, Sidewalk Advocates for Life called on its supporters to pray for all of those who work at abortion businesses. The pro-life group is known for offering information about free resources to women and families entering abortion facilities through a “prayful” and “loving” approach.
The sidewalk advocacy group reflected on the 12 years Richards was Planned Parenthood’s president, a period that consisted of almost 4 million abortions being committed “under the guise of healthcare.”
“While she was advocating for the ‘empowerment of women,’ we were outside her facilities, praying for the women entering, for the workers, and for her,” Sidewalk Advocates for Life wrote in its Monday statement.
“We wholeheartedly hope that she was able to make peace with God in her final days, as we believe that no one is unworthy of the enduring love of Christ; we all fall short of the grace of God, and we are all in need of a Savior,” the pro-life group added.
