"You guys treat us like we're a (expletive) joke. You all want us to feed your papers, but then you all talk (expletive) about us,"Scott said in a USA Today report. "So why would I want to give you all quotes to sell papers with if you all treat us like (expletive.)? That doesn't make sense."

Scott's "media mutiny," as he calls it, comes close to one week after the New York Post featured head coach Rex Ryan and quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow dressed as circus clowns on its front page.

Although Scott's team won in their season opening performance on Sunday, he was skeptical about the way the media would cover his team throughout the season.

"You all talk stuff about us, and then when we win you flip the story. You all win either way," Scott said. "You're all going to screw us next week or the week after. You're all going to get us eventually.''

At the close of last season, Scott got into some trouble when he exited the Jets locker room while sticking his middle finger up at photographers. The obscenity cost him $10,000, according to ESPN reports.

Now, It seems the linebacker is beginning to change his approach with the media.

"I'm just going to be quiet,'' Scott said in USA Today reports.
