Brandi Glanville Tumor Surgery: Star Expresses Relief After Breast Cancer Scare
Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has revealed that she will be going in for surgery this week to remove a tumor that she feared may have been cancerous.
Glanville, 40, revealed in an interview over the weekend that she had discovered the source of what has been making her feel ill for months. According to the reality star, doctors uncovered a tumor in her breast prompting the star to believe that it may be cancerous.
"I am having surgery this week and am relieved it's going to be over with," Glanville said in an interview with InTouch magazine.
Glanville underwent tests following the initial discovery. According to reports the growing tumor was not cancerous, offering the star some sense of relief.
"It's a blessing the tumor is non-cancerous," she told InTouch.
The reality star's health concerns were unveiled amid a heated, public argument between herself and Leann Rimes. Last week Glanville allegedly accused the step-mother to her children of leaving laxatives lying around the house, resulting in one of the boys getting sick.
"Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le's candies and got extremely ill. And Le's candies are laxatives. It was a big ------- deal for me, and I lost my mind," she said. "She has one in every purse. Mason found one on the floor and thought it was a Skittle!" she said during an interview with Us Weekly.
Glanville went on to accuse Rimes of being an unfit parent.
"I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there - or at least the nanny, his parents, someone," the reality star added.
Given the stress of the situation, Glanville has shown concern over her recovery although she was comforted by the fact that she had many friends who were willing to nurse her back to health.
"I'm anxious about the recovery but have great friends who will be playing nurse," she said. "I'm ready to get it over with and feel better."
