Breaking Bad Finale: Peter Gould Confirms Last Two Episodes will be 75 Minutes Long
Hit AMC show Breaking Bad is counting down to the series finale, and in an effort to extend the goodbyes a bit longer, the final two episodes will be 75 minutes long including commercials.
The information was provided by the Twitter of writer and co-executive producer of the show, Peter Gould, yesterday.
"I checked & it's official. Last 2 #BreakingBad eps are 75 minutes each w/commercials. Set your DVRS accordingly. Better still, watch live!" the Tweet said.
The last two episodes were thrilling and heart-pounding, with one of them being an insane cliffhanger for the fans. A case can be made for last Sunday's episode being the best in the series. If how the second half of season 5 is going is any indication of how these final episodes turn out, the fans are in for a treat as the show just keeps one-upping itself.
Meanwhile, everyone is getting in on the Breaking Bad action, including late night host Jimmy Fallon, who parodied the show with his, "Joking Bad."
Fallon's "Joking Bad" premiered just after "Breaking Bad" show runners announced the show's spin-off series, "Better Call Saul."
The upcoming television series will serve as a prequel to "Breaking Bad," and will follow a popular character from the hit show, Saul Goodman.
Portrayed by Odenkirk, Saul is Walter White's seedy lawyer on the television drama.
Reports indicate that "Better Call Saul" has been in development for months and will be the "evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White's lawyer."
Tune in to AMC this Sunday at 9p.m. to catch the second to last episode of Breaking Bad.
