Dylan Farrow's Brother Moses Speaks Out - 'Of Course Woody Did Not Molest My Sister'

While Dylan Farrow and Woody Allen have been creating headlines left and right, a new member of the family has spoken out and offered his view of what happened between Dylan and Woody – absolutely nothing. Moses Farrow, Dylan's brother, has said that he is certain his father did not harm his sister, adding to the split in the family between those who support Dylan and those who support Woody.

"My mother (Mia Farrow) drummed it into me to hate my father for tearing apart the family and sexually molesting my sister," Moses, 36, told People magazine. "And I hated him for her for years. I see now that this was a vengeful way to pay him back for falling in love with Soon-Yi."

Moses chose to speak out and reveal his own opinion of the situation after Dylan penned an open letter to the New York Times, and brother Ronan has spoken out more than once in support of his sister. He actually brought up the subject after nearly 20 years by tweeting during Woody's Lifetime Achievement Award presentation at the Golden Globes. He has been an adamant supporter of Dylan's and makes no excuses for Woody's behavior.

"Of course Woody did not molest my sister," Moses told People. "She loved him and looked forward to seeing him when he would visit. She never hid from him until our mother succeeded in creating the atmosphere of fear and hate towards him. I don't know if my sister really believes she was molested or is trying to please her mother. Pleasing my mother was very powerful motivation because to be on her wrong side was horrible."

Dylan assured People that she was not lying and called Moses' words "a betrayal to me and my whole family. My memories are the truth and they are mine and I will live with that for the rest of my life. My mother never coached me. When I came forward with my story she was hoping against hope that I had made it up."

"My brother is dead to me," Dylan added in reference to Moses. "My mother is so brave and so courageous and taught me what it means to be strong and brave and tell the truth even in the face of these monstrous lies."
