Erica Campbell Releasing Updated 'Help' Album That Includes New Songs
Erica Campbell's debut solo album, "Help" has helped her earn Dove, Soul Train Music and Grammy awards along with Stellar award nominations. Now the Mary Mary singer is gearing up to re-release an updated version of the project with new material.
Erica, 42, has Grammy, AMA, ASCAP and Image awards among others as a member of Mary Mary. Now she has forged her individual path with her debut solo album, "Help" that recently earned her a Grammy award for Best Gospel Album.
Erica's husband and super producer Warryn Campbell has let fans know about the official date of the reloaded album release.

"I was speaking to mountain.... I said 'mountain be thou removed..... To my house,'" Warryn wrote on Instagram. "Congrats to everybody who participated in the making of #HELP... Look out for HELP 2.0 coming March 31st.... We love you!!"
While Campbell won a Dove award, Soul Train Music award and Grammy award for her debut solo album that has also received 10 Stellar award nominations this year, she spoke to The Christian Post about the process of making the album last year. Erica followed God's calling and channeled her experiences into "Help," an eclectic album that she said she hopes reaches people even if they may not know God.
"I just want to reach as many people as possible. I want people to be ok with asking for help," Erica told CP last year. "A lot of times we let our ego get in the way and we don't ask not only God, but we don't ask anybody for help. And we suffer silently, and it's not necessary."
She spoke about her hardships in 2013 helping to shape the album, which is a work that reflects her individual voice aside from her sister and fellow Mary Mary group member TIna.
"The messages are kind of consistent with the year that I had in 2013 and everything was directing me to God, knowing that I would make it through, that I wouldn't stay there long," Erica told CP. "Everything in Mary Mary had been me and Tina. Now it's just me, my voice and opinions."
