George Bush Painting Dogs? Former President Takes Up Hobby
It has been revealed that George Bush likes to spend his spare time paiting portraits of dogs. The hobby is a far reach from his days as the Leader of the Free World, and was one of the more surprising activities he is currently taking part in following his retirement.
According to Joe Hagan, the former president has ample patience to sit and take instruction on painting various things, including portraits of man's best friend.
Bush is also said to paint Texas landscapes among other things, as well as play golf to keep fit.

Hagan is writing a story looking into the legacy of George W. Bush, and in particular whether brother Jeb can come out of his shadow. A former aide has apparently told Hagan, "I find it stunning that he has the patience to sit and take instruction and paint," according to The Atlantic Wire.
Hagan also revealed that Bush is convinced that although he has been strongly criticized over his decisions as president, as time goes on people's perception of things will change and ultimately vindicate him.
However, the legacy Bush has left behind, for now, has caused issues for brother Jeb, and he has received excessive criticism, according to AW. A friend has allegedly said, "Jeb is highly pained. He is so loyal. Jeb knows some of the missteps, but Jeb is profoundly impacted by the kind of criticism he's taken about his brother. It's over the top."
If Jeb did make a presidential run, comparisons with his brother and the legacy left by Bush would be unavoidable. Many believe it would be too much to overcome for Jeb.
It appears that as he waits for his image and people's perceptions of his legacy to change, Bush is taking time out like any other retiree in playing golf and having hobbies such as painting.
