George Clooney Bans Stacy Keibler From Befriending Kim Kardashian?
George Clooney is allegedly upset that Stacy Keibler has befriended Kim Kardashian and new unconfirmed reports suggest that the actor has since banned his girlfriend from maintaining a friendship with the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star.
Clooney, 51, reportedly disapproved of Keibler, 32, spent a great deal of time with Kardashian, 31, during Fashion Week in September. He has allegedly since demanded that she cut ties with the E! Reality star, fearing Kardashian could jeopardize her image, according to reports.
"George feels like the Kardashians are famous for nothing – they have no talent and are looked down on in the industry," a source reportedly told Star magazine. "He thinks Stacy being friends with Kim could hurt possible career opportunities for her."
The pair reportedly hung out at the Marchesa fashion show in Grand Central Station, which Kardashian had attended with her boyfriend Kanye West, 34. Days later, they were spotted together at The Palladium Jewelry by Jacob & Co. Launch Celebration, which was hosted by W Magazine at the Jacob & Co. flagship store.
Keibler, who has dated Clooney for over one year, reportedly first became friends with Kardashian less than one month ago after meeting her at a Madonna concert in New York. Kardashian, who has business dealings with renowned public relations guru Jonathan Cheban, was introduced to the former pro wrestler through him.
"They've known each other for years and have always been friendly, just not best friends," a source told the Daily News New York.
Keibler's alleged new friendship and alleged ban comes two weeks after it was claimed that the former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader had been dumped by Clooney.
A British tabloid had claimed that the actor had grown tired of Keibler and that he had ended their 1-year relationship over his alleged commitment issues. A representative for Clooney, however, blasted the report as false.
"A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true," the representative stated to GossipCop.com. He added that the article is a "total fabrication designed to sell newspapers."
