John David Webster's 'Miracle' Used As Theme In Children's Hospital Fundraiser

Springfield, Mo-based radio station KADI 99.5 FM selected "Miracle," the first single from BHT Records piano-based pop-rock recording artist John David Webster's debut album, Made to Shine, as the theme song for their recent radio-thon event to benefit Children's Miracle Network. During the day, the station welcomed various families that have been helped by Children's Miracle Network who shared their testimonials with the listening audience. The organization, founded by Marie Osmond ("The Donnie & Marie Show," The Osmonds, singer and entrepreneur) and John Schneider ("Smallville," "Dukes of Hazard," country music entertainer) in 1983, works to save and improve the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. The KADI radio-thon collected $30,000 for the cause.

"We were looking for a miracle-themed song, and lo and behold - John David Webster's 'Miracle' was lying on my desk," said KADI's Program Director Rod Kittleman. "The song fit perfectly for the entire day and helped us in our efforts to raise money for the kids!"

"It's so awesome to hear that my song 'Miracle' was used as the theme song for this radio-thon! This is the type of thing that fuels the fire of why I do what I do," exclaimed John David Webster upon hearing about the station's use of his single. "It also means so much more to me because my nephew is in Riley Hospital, one of the hospitals sponsored by the Children's Miracle Network. I'm so thankful to be a part of this incredible story!"
