Will and Jada Smith Divorce Rumors Knocked Down by Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber has offered his opinion on Will and Jada Smith’s marriage in an apparent attempt to help defend them against the vicious rumors circulating about the couple splitting up.
The aggressive rumors that Will and Jada Smith are splitting up have not settled down, even with the joint statement released Tuesday declaring that their “marriage is intact.” Justin Bieber, who works closely with the entire Smith family including Willow and Jaden, posted his thoughts on Twitter Wednesday.
“Will and Jada are one the best couples ever. #FACT #real.”
Will and Jada, along with their two children, attended the premiere of Bieber’s documentary, “Justin BIeber: Never Say Never” which featured performances by both children.
Many fellow Hollywood celebrities have shown support and defended rumors about Will and Jada Smith’s marriage.
Russel Simmons, creator of the Phat Farm fashion clothing line and hip-hop pioneer, took to his Twitter account Wednesday in defense of the 13-year-marriage between Will and Jada Smith.
“Check out new photos of my man and his wife. Taken a few minutes ago.” Simmons provided a link to photographs of Will and Jada smiling while shopping together in Malibu Wednesday to disprove rumors of a split.
Newlywed and co-host on “The View,” Sherri Shepherd, posted gratitude to blackloveandmarriage.com for their article about Will and Jada and about marriage.
“ThankU4 this insightful article, re Will & Jada’s “split” …went & told my hubby how beautiful he was.”
Will Smith’s son, Trey, posted on his Twitter account Wednesday disaffirming the divorce rumor for the second time.
“Let me just say… the rumors need to stop. Will and Jada aren’t getting divorced, #ItsAllLies.”
Trey had already tried to dismantle the rumors the day before, tweeting, “Will and Jada getting a DIVORCE… NOT TRUE AT ALL!! RETWEET.”
On top of rumors of divorce, tabloids have published accusations of Jada being unfaithful to Will. Reports say that Jada and recently single, Marc Anthony, had an affair, causing the singer’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
Jada’s rep, Karynne Tencer, told People Magazine Tuesday: “All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false. Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I’m not commenting on their personal life.”
Marc Anthony’s rep also spoke to People Magazine, saying: “We unequivocally deny this. Enough is enough. There are families involved, friendships involved. This is NOT true.”
In Touch Magazine, which was responsible for the initial reports of marital trouble between the power couple, are being threatened with a lawsuit over their claims.
