Kid Rock Allows Romney to Campaign Using His Song
Rock Star Kid Rock says he is fine with Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney using his song “Born Free” as the official song for his presidential campaign.
In a statement Wednesday, the patriotic rocker said Romney and any other candidate is free to use the tune:
“He and anyone else who wants to use my song do not need my permission. I said he could use it and I would say the same for any other candidate. I have to have a little faith that every candidate feels like he or she can help this country. Without faith, we got nothing. I make music to have it be heard. Merry Christmas folks! Rock on.

PS: Any candidate who makes "So Hott" their theme song has a good chance of getting my vote.”
“So Hott” is one of Kid Rock’s racier songs that makes references to sex and getting “stoned.”
Rock, the former husband of Pamela Anderson, did not disclose who he would be voting for in 2012. Rock stated publicly in 2008 that entertainers "should keep their mouth shut on politics."
“Born Free” was written by Kid Rock as a tribute to the U.S Military and has also been used in Military advertisements.
