Kim Kardashian Calls Kanye West 'Best Friend,' Admits Believing All Exes Were 'the One'
Kim Kardashian, 31-year-old reality television star, is opening up more about her relationship with 35-year-old rapper Kanye West which she admits is different from any other relationship despite the fact that she has believed that almost every boyfriend from her past was "the one."
Kardashian recently appeared in Tatler magazine, a British publication, where she revealed why she felt her relationship with her rapper boyfriend was different from those of the past that she made public, such as NFL player Reggie Bush, NBA player Kris Humphries and R&B singer Ray-J Norwood.
"He's been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely," Kardashian said of West in Tatler. "It's good to be aware that he definitely doesn't want anything from me too, because he understands the business."
According to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, West has become her best friend.
"It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you're going through," Kardashian told the publication. "Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting. I can't even think about being with anyone else than the man I'm with."
Still, Kardashian admitted that she has had issues distinguishing whether her past relationships were meant to last forever or not.
"When I look back at interviews I gave [about previous boyfriends] saying, 'We're talking about marriage, etc.' It's embarrassing," Kardashian admitted to Tatler. "And I really believed it at the time! I'm such a hopeless romantic that I'll always believe the next one is the one."
Still, the reality television star has admitted to other media outlets that West may indeed be "the one." During a stint on "The View" last month host Barbara Walters decided to inquire about West being "the one."
"I think so," Kardashian responded. "I definitely think any [relationship] I'm in now would be a permanent relationship."
