Kris Humphries Suing Kim Kardashian?

Kris Humphries is reportedly looking to sue Kim Kardashian for close to $10 million.

The NBA player, who is currently unemployed due to the league lockout, had his legal team look into filing a suit against Kardashian for his negative portrayal on her reality television show.

"Kris has a legal team investigating his options," a source told Life & Style. "He's claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that's why he wants more money. But Kris is also suing because he's really worried about how badly he's going to be portrayed on the series."

One instance that may portray Humphries in a negative light involves Kardashian’s best friend that the NBA player looked to be bullying in the series. Another friend of Kardashian shared the details with Life & Style.

“Midway through the season, Kris starts bullying Kim's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, about his sexuality," said the source. "Jonathan isn't gay, but Kris accuses him of being gay and criticizes him for it in a really homophobic way. Jonathan is really upset."

A source from E! network reportedly confirmed Humphies’ offensive behavior on the series.

"Kris used the word 'gay' as an insult, to try and hurt Jonathan," a E! insider tells Life & Style. "He's the lowest of the low bullying someone like this."

Despite the claims, Humphries and his family maintain that the show was scripted, including the scene involving Cheban. The NBA player’s father, William, said his son was misled when agreeing to participate.

"Little did Kris know that he was being set up," William told Life & Style. "Kris got used --100 percent used."

Although Humphries will not be able to stop the footage from airing, Life & Style reports that the ball player hired lawyer Lee Hutton in an attempt to remove the portions of film that could potentially damage his reputation.
