Omarosa Defends Herself From Claims of Foul Play From Dead Fiance's Family
The family of deceased actor Michael Clarke Duncan is reportedly looking to hire a lawyer to investigate whether his fiancee Omarosa Manigault influenced the thespian to rewrite his will months before his death.
Judy Duncan, the late actor's sister, is reportedly looking to hire a lawyer to help investigate her brother's reasoning for making Manigault, 39, the main beneficiary in his will, according to TMZ. Duncan, 54, died last September after suffering from a heart attack that left him in intensive care.
After the actor changed his will in April 2012, Judy began to question Manigault's influence. The actor's sister said Manigault, a political consultant-turned-reality television show personality and minister, has also been selling her deceased brother's personal items, according to TMZ.

However, Manigault denied the claims amid reports that the late Duncan left his sister $100,000, TMZ stated.
"I don't control the estate or the finances and Judy knows it," Manigault told TMZ. "If you saw all of her emails and texts to me you would see that she is just trying to get money from me, and threatened going to press if I did not give it to her and that is a crime!"
Latoya Jackson, Manigault's co-star on "The Apprentice," also accused the latter of foul play in Duncan's death. However, Manigault has defended herself against such claims.
"La Toya Jackson's statement on the March 17, 2013 episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, that the Reverend Omarosa Manigault caused her fiancé Michael Clarke Duncan to die, is false, vicious and defamatory," Manigault's legal representatives told Radar Online. "Rev. Manigault has been heralded as a life saver for her actions on the evening that her fiancé suffered a life-ending heart attack. It is repulsive and of the lowest level of class for Ms. Jackson, who showed herself to be a 'sore loser' in making these disgusting statements in the wake of Rev. Manigault's tragic loss."
Manigault has made it clear that she is relying on God to help her through the difficult time of overcoming her fiance's death.
"I've been mindful of that and I've tried to stay encouraged for people who come to me and say, 'How have you been so strong,'" she told Essence last February. "What I've learned is that if I trust God, he will carry me through the difficult times and challenges. And I've learned that I am equipped to deal with everything that life throws at me."
