Phaedra Parks Defending Her Marriage Amid Accusations

Phaedra Parks, an Atlanta attorney and cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," is defending her husband against claims of infidelity.

Apollo Nida, Parks' husband of three years and father of her 2-year-old son Ayden, recently defended her marriage, which has been the topic of scrutiny on the reality television series. Kenya Moore, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" television personality and former Miss USA, alleged that Parks' husband was sending her inappropriate text messages on the show's reunion special.

However, Parks' recently stood up for her marriage despite Moore's claims.

"I have a strong marriage," Parks told In Touch Weekly recently. "It's not like Kenya revealed something I didn't know. There are no secrets."

Although audiences have yet to see the pair hash out their differences in the third part of the show's reunion special that will air April 21, Parks will reportedly confront Moore for flirting with her husband, according to In Touch Weekly sources.

"Phaedra confronts Kenya about hitting on Apollo," a show insider told In Touch recently. "Kenya sits there fanning herself while Phaedra attacks."

Parks explained her position on the matter in the In Touch Weekly report.

"Let's get this clear, my husband just asked her for advice on an acting coach," Parks told In Touch Weekly. "Kenya continued to text him, saying, 'Oh, you look nice.'"

Moore made her debut on the reality television series during its fifth season, where tensions with Parks rose. During the season five reunion, Moore used a physical threat to speak about the possibility of a battle between she and Parks taking a turn for the worst.

"You will be picking up your teeth off the floor, pregnant and all," Moore told Parks on the reunion show last Sunday.

Aside from battling about Parks' marriage, the co-stars have been battling over the release of similar physical fitness DVDs on and off of the show. However, Moore decided to explain her position on the matter by taking to her blog on BravoTV.com recently.

"I hate liars. We all saw Phaedra lie last season about the timing of her pregnancy, lie to Cynthia, etc," Moore wrote in her blog. "She never told the truth and will never tell the truth about her video sales. However, that didn't warrant any threat toward a pregnant woman."
