Fight Breaks Out On 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'

Apollo Nida, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" television personality, may have gotten into a physical altercation while filming the show recently. Nida, the husband of the Bravo TV show's high-powered attorney Phaedra Parks, reportedly physically attacked the assistant to Kenya Moore, the show's cast member and former Miss USA. Moore's assistant, Brandon DeShazer, was reportedly the target of Nida's attack, according to a TMZ report.

Sources reportedly told TMZ that Nida lunged at DeShazer after Parks was cut out of Moore's workout video, a concept that his wife brought to the table first. However, the publication also reported that Nida told TMZ that he was attempting to break up a fight when DeShazer attacked him which forced him to defend himself.

The altercation reportedly caused seven crew members to restrain Nida before he walked off the set. While Nida, Parks, and Moore did not speak directly about the matter just yet the latter did write a cryptic message on Twitter.

"It's a shame what some ppl will do anything for their 'moment,'" Moore tweeted amid media reports about the altercation.

Moore admitted that it is not easy receiving judgement for appearing on the television series.

"Yes that's what I signed up for, and yes, people will judge and criticize you. I'm okay with that," she told EGL Magazine earlier this year. "What hurts is when people assassinate you via blogs, Twitter or Facebook. It hurts when they go for the jugular instead of just stating what their opinion is and moving on."

Moore made her debut on the reality television series during its fifth season, where tensions with previously pregnant co-star Parks rose. Moore was highly criticized after the season five-reunion show, when she used a physical threat to speak about the possibility of a battle between she and Parks taking a turn for the worst.

"You will be picking up your teeth off the floor, pregnant and all," Moore told Parks on the reunion show.

The co-stars have been battling over the release of similar physical fitness DVDs on and off of the show. While Moore later apologized for the threats, she admitted some of the attacks that she received from viewers have been atrocious.

"Some people make everything so personal and it seems like unnecessary attacks," Moore told EGL.

"Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there's never ever a need to be downright disgustingly mean and atrocious on any platform whatsoever."
