Rihanna Proud of Chris Brown Overcoming Anger Issues in Media?

Rihanna is reportedly proud of Chris Brown for opening up about overcoming his anger issues in the media recently.

Brown, 23, recently opened up to radio host Ryan Seacrest recently on his KIIS FM radio show. The 25-year-old Barbadian pop star reportedly loves the fact that her boyfriend is willing to speak about a topic that has impacted him so much throughout the years.

"Chris said a lot, and he's growing and she loves that about her man," a source close to Rihanna said in a Perez Hilton report. "She knows he hurts every time he talks about what happened. But maybe it's good he's reminded."

The source said Rihanna has forgiven Brown and spoke about the couple being deeply in love.

"She forgave him already, and they've moved way past that already. Some people just don't want to recognize it, but they do and that's all that matters," the source told Perez Hilton. "They are in a good place together. They are in love, and it shows all the time."

Brown recently spoke up about his past anger issues that led to the domestic dispute involving Rihanna in 2009 when speaking to Seacrest.

"I could [blame it] on my age, but that would just be making an excuse," Brown told Seacrest. "I think that at age 18, 19, I was capable of writing and producing songs, so I'm also capable of making the right choices."

Still, the singer insisted that he has learned a lot from his mistakes.

"You can lose it all. And I'm not just saying fame or stardom, because that's not what it's about," Brown told Seacrest. "I'm talking about dignity, integrity. You know, you lose yourself in a way ... It was a learning step for me ... I learned from certain mistakes, and I'm getting better as the days come."
