Tamera Mowry-Housely Shares Baby Girl's Photo; Says She 'Freaked Out' After Learning Baby Was a Girl
Tamera Mowry-Housley is giving the world a glimpse of her daughter, Ariah Talea Housley, and says that despite the challenges and apprehensions that go along with motherhood, she is blessed.
"You're going to have great days and you're going to have challenging days, but it's a blessing. I love having my little family I really do," Mowry-Housley, the 37-year-old actress, told People magazine.
The Christian co-host of the Fox talk show, "The Real" now has a family that consists of her husband, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, their 2-year-old son, Aden John Tanner Housley, and 2-month-old addition, Ariah. Still, she admitted to feeling apprehensive about bringing a little girl into her family.

"I was a little freaked out because I have friends who have girls who are preteens now and all they do is tell me their stories," Tamera told People last week.
"We are beyond overjoyed and blessed with our beautiful baby girl. Aden already made a welcome video for her," the Housleys said in a statement after her birth.
Now that they have two children, the Housleys say they are officially feeling like a family.
"It's cool to come out as a family because we are family people," Mowry-Housley said. "We run four deep now; when you have four, there's no doubt about it, you are a family."
The Housleys have been married since 2011, and have been vocal about how God is the center of their union. The actress also revealed that her daughter's name was special because of its faith-based origin.
"It wasn't until after we had decided on Ariah Talea Housley that Adam and I learned the origin and meaning of both names — they couldn't be more appropriate for a family like ours whose faith is so very strong," Mowry-Housley previously wrote on her website. "Both Hebrew names, Ariah means Lion of God and Talea means one who resembles the morning dew of Heaven. We couldn't have found names with a better meaning if we had tried."
Initially, Mowry-Housley had another reason for wanting to name her daughter Araiah.
"I had always known that I wanted Aden to be my son's name, and since Adam began with an A as well I wanted to keep our family tradition alive of starting my childrens' names with the same letter. So it worked out that before Adam and I were even married we stumbled across a shop named Araya," Mowrey-Housley wrote. "I stopped and immediately told him I loved the name and wanted that to be my future daughter's name. It was and is such a beautiful name."
While the Housleys considered names like Arriana and Aliana, they decided on the name Ariah, which they chose to spell phonetically. For Ariah's middle name, the co-host of "The Real" said she loved the name Talea, which a friend almost turned into a character inspired by the entertainer for a potential book.
After giving birth to Ariah, Mowry-Housley joked about her prayers for her baby coming true.
"You have to watch what you pray for!" Mowry-Housley told People. "Ariah's a big girl, but I love the fatness. I love to show off her rolls and I dress her in rompers for summer. She has the chubbiest legs!"
