Tim Tebow, Bubba Watson, Ben Crane Attend PGA Tour Bible Study

Christian sports legends Bubba Watson, Tim Tebow, and Ben Crane gathered together Tuesday evening to attend a Bible study in Phoenix, Ariz., presumably near the TPC Scottsdale course where Watson and Crane are currently participating in the WM Phoenix Open.

Crane, who plays on the PGA tour, posted a picture of him with Tebow and Watson on his Twitter account, with a caption that read: "Fun bible study tonight! Hanging with Bubba Watson and Tim Tebow."

All three of these sports icons serve as outspoken voices in the Christian community.

Crane, 36, has frequently testified of his Christian faith during his pro-golfing career, speaking on the numerous times in which God helped him through trials in his life, such as his bout with a back injury, losing his pastor to Leukemia, and wrestling with the intense pressure and expectations that come with being a pro-athlete.

As Crane states on his personal website, the PGA Tour Bible Study, led by Larry Moody, the PGA Tour Chaplain for the last 32 years, allows him to connect spiritually with other Christian members of the pro-golfing tour.

Watson, a 34-year-old native of Florida, has also been an outspoken advocate of the Christian faith, as seen through his gratitude to God after he won the Masters Tournament in 2012.

"I'd like to first thank Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior," Watson said after he put on the famed green jacket at the Masters tournament in Augusta, Ga.

Tebow, quarterback for the New York Jets in the NFL, has also repeatedly expressed his dedication to his Christian faith, and has become an outspoken pro-life and evangelism abroad advocate.

This is not the first time Tebow and Watson have openly shown their friendship.

When Watson won the Masters in 2012, he gave his player badge to Tebow as a gift, as it carried the number 15, the same number Tebow wears on his jersey on the football field.

Watson and Crane are currently participating in the WM Phoenix Open, which runs until Feb. 3 in Scottsdale and includes such notable names in golf as Phil Mickelson and Hunter Mahan.
