Tim Tebow Gets NYC Sports Hosts 'Boomer and Carton' Talking About Jesus

Yesterday Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos were victorious in an overtime victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where they won 29-23 after Tebow connected with a receiver for an amazing 80-yard touchdown pass.

Tebow threw 316 yards with two touchdowns, and ran 50 yards himself to secure another touchdown.

At the end of the game Tebow went into his signature "tebowing" pose, and was sure to credit Jesus for the victory in his post-match press conference.

WFan 660 NY morning show radio hosts of "Boomer and Carton," Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton, discussed Tebow's Jesus comments and the divinely evident coincidence of Tebow's game numbers.

"One of his biggest books or scriptures that he likes to read, and it's even under the eye black under his eyes is John 3:16," said Carton. "I'm not going to pretend to know what that passage is, but...how many yards did Tebow throw for yesterday?"

Boomer said, "316."

Carton, "How many yards did he average per throw?"

Boomer, "31.6...coincidence, we think not."

They then went on to play a clip of Tebow thanking Jesus and his teammates for the win.

Then the sports update announcer, Jerry Recco, agreed that Tebow should keep thanking Jesus at the end of games because it seems to be working.

Boomer then said, "Just remember God loves all."

To which Carton disagreed: "God clearly does not love all. Do you think God loves Sandusky?"

Boomer then recanted his statement and agreed with Carton but said, "God has created all...That means he created Sandusky, unfortunately."

They then segued out of the topic, but it is important to note the conversation happened.

Tebow's weekly proclamations are bringing up faithful discussions and conversations in all types of places where they are not normally found; many have praised Tebow for this, saying he has an almost evangelizing quality about him.

Many sports critics were skeptical of Tebow's chances of winning in the playoffs after struggling in his last three weeks to find any momentum.

Sportingnews.com said the best way to get to Tebow is "working to keep him in the pocket and locking up on his two outside receivers man-on-man." They state this method as working because it prevents him from running by leaving the defenders in the middle. However, Tebow and the Broncos continue to make the headlines.
