Tomb Raider PSOne Classic Game Now Available for iOS Devices in iTunes Store
The original Tomb Raider game for the PSOne in 1996 is now available for mobile devices in the New Zealand App Store, and heads to North America tonight.
For only 99¢ the game that started it all for Laura Croft can be downloaded to anything that has iOS 7.0 or greater.
"We're going back to where it all began for one of the most famous video game characters of all time – Lara Croft – with the release of her very first adventure!" reads the description in iTunes. "We've not messed about with it, so it's the full, unedited, unadulterated experience from the classic release at a super-low price. How better to find out if you've still got what it takes to beat a legendary game than by taking on the lost city of Atlantis and the pyramids of Egypt? It's probably not for the faint of heart!"

Recently, Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition was listed on Amazon for release on the PS4 and Xbox One and is slated for 2014. This is the rebooted version of the game that arrived earlier this year.
This game appears to be "rebuilt" specifically for the next-gen consoles, and includes all DLC's, a digital comic book and artbook, as well as six different outfits for the character reports Polygon.
Tomb Raider will be available on January 28 for $59.99 after previously being released on March 5 of this year for the Xbox 360, PS3, MAC, and PC to rave reviews. See the listing for PS4 here and Xbox One here.
The game's publisher, Square Enix, hinted at the next-gen release of the game last month. A representative from the company initially told IGN to expect some sort of announcement about the future of the Crystal Dynamics-developed reboot of the series.
Another hint was a leak that has since been removed on the Italian Amazon's website. There was a listing for Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4 to be released on Jan. 24, 2014. Polygon reported there were even hints at DLCs and a possible Xbox One and Wii U version.
The game was previously made by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive when it began in 1996 up until the mid-2000s. Crystal Dynamics rebooted the entire series, change Laura craft's look, and put her back in time to before she became the rough and tumbled Tomb Raider.
There are nine games since its inception over the course of around 20 platforms.
