Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders Live Stream Free: Watch Online NFL 2013 Football (Start Time, CBS TV Schedule)
The Denver Broncos will close out their 16-game NFL 2013 regular season on Sunday with a road game against the Oakland Raiders. The Broncos have already clinched a first round bye in the playoffs and the Raiders have long since had any postseason dreams extinguished, so this game could be more of an exhibition than a fully fledged season closing game. The game will start at 4.25 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The 12-3 Broncos have been fantastic all season long and barring a few small blips have been the most impressive team in the NFL through this regular season. However, after today's game the real business will get underway, and the Broncos will have to make sure they suffer no blips in their postseason games if they want to clinch the Conference title and the Super Bowl this season.
Wes Welker will miss the game this week, and with the Broncos guaranteed a first round bye in the playoffs, he should have ample time to recover before the Denver postseason schedule kicks in. He returned to practice earlier this week already, but it has been confirmed he will not take to the field for today's game.
Despite today's game being somewhat of a dead rubber, it won't all be for nothing. There are records on offer today, and for sure after a phenomenal season, the Broncos and Manning would love to break a few more today.
Peyton Manning's record breaking 51 touchdown passes this season so far should be the talk of the NFL, however, the spotlight has been relatively light on him. Perhaps it's because everyone has been expecting him to break records since just the first month of the season, such has been his amazing form.
Modest as ever, Manning has played down his achievement and has simply said he would enjoy the accolade while it lasted, indicating that he believes in the current NFL era, records might only last a few seasons before being broken again.
Manning told TheMMQB.com's Peter King on Monday: "I will enjoy it while it lasts. I'm such a fan of the game, a student of the history of the game. So obviously this is a big thing for me. But personally, I feel all these passing records are going to fall. [Tom] Brady will probably break this next year."
He added, "And you look at the colleges spreading the field and throwing it all over the place, and you see that style being played in the NFL now, and you're going to see numbers like this happen a lot."
