New York and Baltimore are tied 1-1. Yankees took Game 1 with CC Sabathia while Orioles snatched Game 2 with Wei-Yin Chaen. The victor of Game 3 will advance in the American League Championship Series .
Miguel Gonzales will pitch for the Orioles and square off with the Yankees' Hiroki Kuroda. Gonzales has won nine games for the Orioles this year, two against Yankees this year.
Gonzalez was 6-2 with a 2.74 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 65 2/3 road innings this season. Kuroda was 11-6 with a 2.72 ERA and 1.01 WHIP in Yankee Stadium.
Alex Rodriguez will remain in batting slot 3 in Game 3 after having a rough start in playoffs. In Game 1, the Most Valuable Award Winner player went 1 for 9, with five strikeouts. His performance has been disappointment to fans.
