'Dawson's Creek' Reunion? Katie Holmes Contacts Joshua Jackson
Joshua Jackson recently revealed that his former "Dawson's Creek" co-star Katie Holmes reached out to him after her divorce from Tom Cruise and fans have begun speculating whether a "Dawson's Creek" reunion movie will finally go ahead.
During an interview on Canadian talk show "George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight," Jackson, 35, revealed that Holmes, 33, called him to catch up after her divorce from Cruise, 50, was announced.
"Yeah, actually, like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi how are ya? What's going on?'; 'I had a kid,'" Jackson said, referencing Holmes' daughter Suri Cruise, 6. "It was very nice, actually."

It is still unclear whether Holmes and Jackson discussed the possibility of a "Dawson's Creek" reunion film. She was previously said to be keen to reunite with all of her former co-stars including James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams for a reunion movie while she was still married to Cruise.
Cruise, who reportedly began influencing Holmes' acting career in 2005 after they began dating, allegedly previously shot down the idea of a reunion film.
"[Producers] were begging her to sign on for a reunion movie. Tom said absolutely no way and thought going backward would be bad," a source reportedly told Us Weekly Magazine.
"[Holmes] didn't care how 'low-brow' he [thought] Dawson's Creek is. She wanted to do the movie and reconnect with her fans. And have fun," the source went on.
Now that Holmes and Cruise's divorce is finalized, some critics are questioning whether the "Batman Begins" actress will finally be free to participate in a potential "Dawson's Creek" reunion film.
Jackson is not the only actor who Holmes has reached out to following the breakdown of her marriage. Chris Klein, who was engaged to Holmes in 2003, was reportedly helping the actress overcome the struggles of divorce.
"She is so thankful to have some lust and passion back in her life," an unnamed source previously told Star Magazine, adding that the pair has been engaged in "heated texting" since Holmes' divorce filing. "There was definitely flirty communication between the two."
