Former NFL-Star Lawrence Taylor Hit With Sex Trafficking Lawsuit

Former NFL-star Lawrence Taylor, who was found guilty on charges relating to sex trafficking, was slapped with a sex trafficking lawsuit on Monday.

The lawsuit was filed in a U.S. District Court in Manhattan by Cristina Fierro. Fierro was forced to prostitute herself to the 52-year-old football star in an upstate New York motel room in May of 2010.

According to the court filing the NFL Hall of Famer forced himself on the then 16-year-old Fierro who was “visibly injured” and “tried to push his enormous body off hers.”

Fierro repeatedly told the football star that she did not want to engage in sexual intercourse with him.

Taylor admitted back in January to paying the young girl $300 for sex. He was forced to register as a sex offender and was given six years of probation.

Fierro who said she was angry that Taylor never apologized or faced jail time for his criminal act filed the lawsuit under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act.

Fierro was a runaway who was forced by her former pimp Rasheed Davis to prostitute herself. She told police that Davis verbally and physically assaulted prior to taking her to the motel room to have sex with Lawrence.

According to the Protection Act, “Runaway and homeless children in the United States are highly susceptible to being domestically trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation.”

Her lawyers wrote in the court filing, “Cristina Fierro was a victim of a human sex trafficking offense because she was compelled through means of force, threats of force, and coercion to travel with Rasheed Davis for the purpose of providing commercial sex to defendant Lawrence Taylor.”

“I believe that buyers should have the same penalty as the pimp,” Fierro said at a news conference.

“No girl deserves to be taken advantage of and I hope to be a voice of girls and young women out there who have been sexually exploited as a result of sex trafficking,” she added.

Fierro’s attorney Gloria Allred said that the action taken on behalf of her client are an attempt to raise awareness and curb the demand for commercial sexual exploitation of children.

“If buyers know that they may liable for significant … damages for the physical and emotional suffering that they cause a child it may make them think twice before they engage in reprehensible criminal act and civil wrong.”
