Glenn Beck Rallies in Israel, Says 'Age of the Miracles of God' is Coming

Glenn Beck has convened his “Restoring Courage” rallies in Israel in an attempt to restore his image following the cancellation of his show on Fox News.

The former Fox News commentator is using Israel, a pivotal country in politics, to improve his reputation in America. Beck spoke directly to more than 3,000 Christians, mostly Americans, who gathered at an ancient Roman amphitheater in Caesarea on Sunday.

Beck hopes his rally will encourage Israelis to remain staunch in their biblical promises despite complaints of the international community. However, Israeli Arab leaders have expressed resistance to Beck’s rally and have threatened violence.

“Be not afraid, know who He is, know His face, know that He is a God of covenants and miracles,” Beck said to the crowd.

The Conservative continued, “We are leaving the age of man-made miracles of spacecraft, and we are entering the age of the miracles of God,” Israel Today Magazine reported.

The purpose of the event was to “bring truth, we bring peace, we bring support, we bring comfort” to the Jewish people, said Beck.

Beck was joined on stage Sunday by historian David Barton, Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, author Mike Evans, and Pastor John Hagee- who founded “Christians United for Israel.”

On stage, the evangelical leader Hagee told the crowd, “Today I stand here when Israel is a tiny island of democracy swimming in a sea of tyranny, I stand here as Israel is surrounded, hounded, and threatened, at this difficult juncture in history allow me to say something to you directly from my heart. Today in a world of freedom, the proudest boast is this: Ani Yisraeli!”

“Ani Yisraeli” means “I am an Israeli.”

The statement led the crowd to chant that they were citizen of Israel, led by Hagee, The Atlantic reported.

Rabbi Riskin said, “We are not alone,” during his stage time.

“We are Jews and not Christians; you Christians, nevertheless, have the courage to love us on our otherness. We are profoundly grateful for your courage and to love us and stand with us.”

The rally Sunday in Caesarea was aired in over 80 different countries on Beck’s GBTV channel, which kick-started with the event.

Monday, Beck and his supporters were scheduled to pay respects to Holocaust victims during a remembrance ceremony.

The four-day event's closing program on Wednesday is sold out, and was supposed to take place at the southern end of the Temple Mount. The venue was changed due to threats to security, and now the final and main event, “Courage to Stand,” will take place at the Davidson Center in Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Beck said he is losing over $1 million on the rallies.
