The rapper did appear at the club without his wife Beyonce and new born daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The two have yet to make a public appearance together.

The new 40/40 club located in the Flatiron part of Manhattan received a $10 million dollar facelift.

Out of all the famous faces in attendance, Buffett's appearance is making headlines everywhere. The 81-year old is one of the richest men in the world and arguably one of the most powerful as well. He seemed to be enjoying himself with some of the pictures taken from the event showing him throwing up Jay-Z's Roc-a-fella sign.

Buffett and Jay-Z have been friends for years, according to TMZ who added that the two also appeared together on the cover of Forbes back in 2010. The site also reported that Buffett was not originally supposed to attend the event, but called and asked if he could stop in and Jay-Z welcomed him.

Buffett seemed to enjoy his tour of the redesigned 40/40 Club and ended up throwing up Jigga's trademark Roc sign after witnessing many other guests doing so. He asked Jay-Z what they were doing and once the rapper explained it, the two threw it up together.
