Kelly Rowland Says Beyonce is Having a Girl

Singer Beyonce Knowles made a visual announcement of her pregnancy with rapper Jay-Z in August by showing her baby bump during the MTV Music Awards, and now thanks to her pal Kelly Rowland, the baby is revealed a girl.

Rowland was in Destiny's Child with Beyonce and appeared to have let the baby's gender slip in an interview with US Weekly.

"I think her dad [Jay-Z] is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love," said Rowland.

Rowland revealed the baby's sex when asked if Jay and Beyonce are going to be good parents.

“I think she’ll be very well behaved. Her parents will make sure of that," Rowland added.

The celebrity couple usually keeps everything concealed taking years to admit to even having a relationship.

Various media outlets have reported Beyonce going shopping for pink shoes and other clothing articles that fueled Rowland's claims of the baby being a girl.

The baby, due in February, will have plenty of space to play as Jay and Beyonce are renovating their New York City home with a 2,200 square foot nursery.

Now that the gender has been rumored, fans took to Facebook to name the unborn child.

Student Jodi Palermo creatively combined the stars two names to create Jeyonce. While hip-hop Producer Vin Logozzo jokingly named the baby: "Wealthy the 1st."

Freelance Journalist James Kingsley relied on the traditional crazy celebrity name and said, "taking a guess since, well celebs name their kids odd names im going with sanja."

Marissa Pessolano, a college student, went the nostalgic route and named the baby Destiny after Destiny's Child.

Regardless of the child’s name, Rowland said the new addition would be loved.

“I’m so happy for my sister and her husband. They’re so happy in this moment right now, as they should be. They’ve made a little bundle of love. I’m so excited for them," Rowland said.
