Mexico vs. Japan Watch Online Football: Live Stream of Men's Soccer Semi Final at London 2012 Olympics

Mexico vs. Japan kicks off at noon today in the semi final of the men's Olympic football tournament. The soccer match should be a fiercely contested game, and can be watched from 12 p.m. (ET) online through live stream (details below).

Japan have already proven themselves to be hot contenders for the gold medal when they stunned the Olympic soccer tournament by beating World and European champions Spain in their opening game. That 1-0 defeat for Spain sparked a chain of terrible results for them and saw them eliminated from the Olympic men's soccer tournament at the group stages.

Meanwhile, Mexico have been one of the favorites coming into the men's soccer tournament at the Olympics and have also shown their class, easing through their group stage and quarter final.

But if Mexico are to progress to the final they will have to do what no side has yet done to Japan at this Olympics - score a goal against them. Japan has not yet conceded a goal in the tournament to date, an amazing record that has seen them keep four clean sheets. Their well organized defense has looked formidable and will take some creative attacking effort from the Mexico side to break them down.

Mexico also had not conceded a goal in the group stages as they qualified for the knock out rounds. However that all changed in the quarter finals when they faced African side Senegal. Mexico started the match well racing into a two goal lead, but suddenly were pinned back as Senegal scored two quick fire goals to make it 2-2 at the full time whistle.

It looked like there was a shock on the cards, but in the end Mexico showed their quality and superiority over the Senegal side in extra time, and eventually won the tie 4-2 to make it through to today's semi final against Japan.
