Mick Jagger, David Bowie Gay Affair Alleged in New Book

A new book has alleged that David Bowie and Mick Jagger, both notorious ladies men, were involved in a romantic affair.

Despite the fact that both men had wives at the time, a new book written by Christopher Anderson has alleged that both men were romantically involved with each other.

"Bowie and Jagger were spotted everywhere together without their wives," Andersen stated of the affair that he claims began in the 1970s.

The time period is the same in which Jagger married Bianca De Macias in 1971, although the couple split less than eight years later.

"My marriage ended on my wedding day," Macias would later state, recalling her husband's adultery during the span their marriage and the eventual cause of their divorce.

It was not presumed, however, that Jagger was having an affair with another man although in "Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger" Anderson claims that the two were not secretive about their relationship.

"Neither complained when a photographer snapped them in a moment of repose, Bowie tenderly cradling Mick's head in his lap. Bowie also took Mick to gay films," Anderson wrote.

Anderson goes on to state that the situation peaked when Bowie's wife Angie discovered the two men in bed together.

"She returned home one morning and went straight to the kitchen to make some tea. The Bowies' maid, who arrived about an hour earlier, approached her with a peculiar look on her face. 'Someone,' she told Angie, 'is in your bed.'"

"Angie went upstairs to her bedroom, slowly pushed the door open, and there they were: Mick Jagger and David Bowie, naked in bed together, sleeping. Both men woke up with a start. 'Oh, hello,' said Bowie, clearly taken by surprise. 'How are you?'"

Anderson also confirmed that one of the singer's backup singers also stated that the two were "obsessed" with each other.

The new story did not surprise some, who stated that it would be more shocking if Jagger had been described as virtuous.
