Miley Cyrus Not Having 3 Weddings; Singer Reveals Wedding Plans

Miley Cyrus recently denied claims made by her father that she and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth are planning three separate weddings, insisting that she will walk down the aisle only once.

The 19-year-old, who confirmed her engagement to the Australian actor, 22, in June, spoke candidly about her wedding plans during an interview on the "Ellen" show. She revealed that she is striving for a "perfect" wedding day.

"There's some rumor going around that I'm having 47 weddings, I'm not. I'm having one wedding, that's my day, and whatever I want on that day it'll be about me and that moment, that look of love," Cyrus told talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres.

"That moment of when he first gets to see me in my dress, and everything all together - it has to be perfect, it has to be like the soundtrack in like a movie," she went on.

The former Disney star's father Billy Ray Cyrus, 51, had previously suggested that the young couple, who has been together for three years, would have three weddings, although it is now suspected that he was joking.

"Liam asked if he could have my daughter's hand in marriage, and I said yes if I could be in his brother's [Chris Hemsworth] next movie," Billy Ray told Us magazine.

"Now, they [Miley and Liam] are going to have three weddings, so I'm thinking one movie with Chris, then we got the sequel to Liam's new movie [Hunger Games: Catching Fire] coming out. They have got three weddings, that has to be three movies for me," he joked.

Despite being faced with rumors of a canceled engagement, Cyrus insisted that her relationship with Hemsworth is stronger than ever. The singer also spoke about the importance of having the "look of love" on her big day.

"[A wedding is] the one day where that movie crap is real, that romance. I've been to probably 10, 20 weddings, and I've seen that real look five, six times. It's rare that people just stop to really look the person in the eye and know that this is your life together," she said.
