Super Bowl 2014 Preview: Watch Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos Today (Fox TV Start Time, Half-Time Show Details)

The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks will face off in Super Bowl 2014 on Sunday in a mouthwatering match up from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This huge game will be watched by millions across the globe and will start at 6.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network. The Super Bowl 2014 Half-Time Show featuring Bruno Mars and The Red Hot Chili Peppers will start from 8 p.m. ET.

This game could go either way with both teams clearly being the two most impressive in the NFL throughout the season. Seattle's success has largely been built on its rock solid defense, where as Denver have been able to take apart just about every team put in front of them with Peyton Manning and their on fire offensive unit.

Some analysts believe that the Seahawks have the edge, as they have the stronger ability to force turnovers at a shockingly regular rate, and if they can steal possession at key moments in Sunday's game then it could swing things their way.

With basically the only way to stop Peyton Manning simply being not allowing him to get the ball in the first place, it will be vital for the Seahawks to keep possession for long periods of the game. They must effectively starve Manning and the Broncos offense of possession, and when they do manage to get it, the Seahawks will be looking to steal it back prematurely via turnovers before damage can be done.

The Broncos meanwhile had a slightly shaky defense through the regular season, and their defensive frailties were often hidden by Manning and co. piling on nearly 50 points a game early on in the regular season. However, once the postseason began, the Broncos have managed to tighten things up considerably, and both Seattle and Denver come into the Super Bowl having allowed less than 17 points per game through the Playoffs.

However, tellingly the Seahawks have forced four turnovers in the postseason, compared to the Broncos' zero turnovers. So often tight games are won and lost on turnovers, and in this department it appears the Seahawks have the clear advantage.

Seahawks fans will be hoping that their super efficient secondary and pass rush can continue the good work seen throughout the season until now. They have consistently thrown a spanner in opposition passing attacks all season long, and if they can neutralize the passing threat from the Broncos, that would be a massive stride to victory in this year's Super Bowl.

That means Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor will be vital players for the Seahawks.

The Broncos meanwhile will hope to keep their defensive unit as tight as possible to give Peyton Manning the greatest opportunity to tear apart the Seahawks' defense. Manning has had a wealth of options open to him throughout the season, but he will have one of the strongest secondary units to content with on Sunday. If he can overcome that challenge then he just might claim another Super Bowl ring this year.
