Tiger Woods won his first golf tournament in two years on Dec. 4, when he sank a birdie putt on the 18th hole to edge Zach Johnson by one shot to capture the Chevron World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California.

This was huge for his career considering that it had been more than two years when it was first reported that Woods had several extramarital affairs.

News hit media outlets when Woods crashed his SUV at his Florida home during Thanksgiving in 2009. Several reports followed stating more than a dozen women had an affair with Woods. Publicly it was tremendously embarrassing while it was also privately devastating.

When the couple first announced that they had finalized their divorce, reports surfaced that a settlement would be in the area of $700 million.

"Tiger Woods' soon-to-be ex-wife is about to become an independently wealthy woman, but we've learned she's legally prohibited from blabbing about it," TMZ said.

Elin Nordegren spoke to People magazine in an interview, two days after she and Woods issued a statement confirming their divorce.

"It's hard to think you have this life, and then all of a sudden, was it a lie? You're struggling because it wasn't real. But I survived, it was hard, but it didn't kill me," Nordegren said.
