Tom Hardy has had numerous large roles in movies and TV. He is probably most well known for his role of Bane in the recent Batman movie "The Dark Night Rises." But it was his 2010 performance as Eames in the movie "Inception" that really put him on the map.

Before that, Hardy had recurring roles in a few television mini series. In 2009 he played the role of Freddie in the TV mini series "The Take." And in 2007 he played the role of Bill Sikes in a television series production of Oliver Twist.

The movie "Rocketman" is set to start filming sometime in 2014.
