Although it’s widely celebrated at Christmas, the birth of Christ is also widely contested.
For the Christian, the cross is a striking declaration that our value is so high that God paid an infinite price to redeem us. To be sure, “Barbie” is not a Christian film, but it can get us to think about far more than we might think.
To claim that all roads lead to God isn’t only illogical, it’s disrespectful.
The Gospel does not ethnically homogenize; it spiritually unifies.
That message is coherent and good news for those who are “born that way.” And that’s all of us.
