$99 HP TouchPad Tablet; Where Can I Get It?
The HP TouchPad costing $99 dollars was sold-out online by Saturday night in Best Buy, according to one post, and some of the company's local stores didn't have them in stock by Sunday morning.
However, if you want one, HP seems to be restocking units and according to PCWorld, they should have them ready "in the next few days." You can sign up for availability notifications at this location.
Best Buy previously stated it would return all unsold TouchPad units back to HP after the computer hardware company on Thursday announced it would discontinue production of its flagship tablet due to poor sales.

However, by Sunday 10 a.m., the tablets were made available at some BestBuy local stores selling the 16GB model for $99 and the 32GB model for $149. Although slim, chances are you might still find one at a local Best Buy store, although not all stores have them in stock.
Since it was launched to the market no more than two months ago, the Touchpad tablet, originally at $399, failed to attract consumer attention despite the heavily publicized and marketed efforts by Hewlett Packard.
With some 300 apps by launch date, many felt the device's app portfolio was too small to compete with the iPad or Android tablets while others pointing at its unattractive mobile operating system, WebOS, simply turned their backs.
Regardless of possessing similar hardware features to the iPad, some believe the poor sales were due to consumers wanting iPads, not tablets.
Although many companies like HP have launched tablets to compete with Apple's highly popular iPad, no tablet has emerged to contend against it just yet.
