Angelina Jolie 'Cousin' Denied Restraining Order Against Brad Pitt; Claims Actor Is a Scientologist

A man claiming to be Angelina Jolie's cousin has reportedly been denied a temporary restraining order against Brad Pitt after allegedly being assaulted by John Travolta and Pitt, who he claims has joined the Church of Scientology.

In a court document provided by RadarOnline.com, Jonathan Jolie alleged that Pope Benedict XVI sent him to stop Pitt's conversion to Scientology when the plaintiff found out that Travolta was allegedly having an affair with the actress' soon-to-be husband.

"I live in the Vatican City and was sent directly from Pope Benedict to spy and stop Brad Pitt from joining the scientologists in Clearwater, (Fla.) headed by John Travolta," the preliminary injunction for a temporary restraining order stated. "I take it personal because if Brad Pitt becomes a Scientologist, he will brainwash his Scientology beliefs on my cousin Angelina Jolie which means the Jolie seeds will be infected and our bloodline ruined. If Brad Pitt converts to Scientology then all of Rome will fall."

After Jonathan Jolie claimed that Pitt has helped fund some of the pope's expenses, he also stated that Pitt begged him not to report the happenings that took place in a Clearwater, Fla., Church of Scientology earlier this month.

"Brad begged me not to tell Angelina because this conversion she did not know, it was to be kept a hidden secret and Angelina also was not aware of Brad Pitt and John Travolta's affair with each other," Angelina's purported cousin from Italy stated in the court document. "I had a sword in my car and body armor and put it on. I told Brad Pitt I will fight to the death and you will not enter the Scientology building."

However, Jonathan Jolie claimed he was unable to use his weapons as he was beaten by Travolta and Pitt, who allegedly burned him, broke his fingers, crushed his voice box and threw him in the Gulf of Mexico. Jolie said he was forced to seek protection from the Italian Embassy and called for help to save Catholicism.

"Please help me," Jolie wrote in the injunction. "Oh God, save Catholicism."

Despite Jolie's claims, United States District Judge, Steven D Merryday dismissed his request from a Tampa, Fla., court on Tuesday

"This action is dismissed with prejudice," the judge wrote. "The clerk is directed to deny the motion for a temporary restraining order, close the case and refrain from mailing a copy of this order to the plaintiff's claimed return address, which is the address of the Italian Consulate in New York."
