Ashton Kutcher Steve Jobs Costume: First Look
Ashton Kutcher has been spotted in character as Steve Jobs while filming the upcoming biopic about the former Apple CEO.
Kutcher, 34, will portray the technology genius who died of pancreatic cancer at age 56 last year.
Jobs was normally clad in jeans, sneakers, and a black turtleneck, despite his top position at the billion-dollar company. Donning the very same characteristic look, Kutcher even sported the same thin beard Jobs had in his youth while filming in Los Angeles.

A source of inspiration to many, Jobs gave entrepreneurs and start-up companies hope. When news broke of Kutcher's role in the biopic, many of Jobs' fans expressed mixed reactions. Following the actor's outing dressed as Jobs this week, fans seem more optimistic that the "Two and a Half Men" star is a good fit portray their tech idol.
"Ashton Kutcher looks exactly like Steve Jobs," wrote Caroline after viewing the first images of the actor in costume.
The latest images of Kutcher have not convinced off Twitter users though.
"I can't wrap my mind around the idea of Ashton Kutcher playing Steve Jobs," posted Bruce.
"Jobs," as the film is titled, is expected to be released at the end of the year.
Producer Mark Hulme explained the casting choice in a past interview.
"Since our film covers the early years of Apple, when Jobs was in his 20's, we needed an actor who could carry not only the youthfulness of Jobs at the time, but also the psychological complexity," said Hulme. "Because of that, Ashton's physical similarities to Jobs, he's perfect for the film."
Kutcher bears a noticeable resemblance to a young image of the Apple visionary.
The iPhone creator's death sparked international mourning and tribute, including honors from President Obama, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and Walk Disney's Bill Iger, among hundreds of other notable figures.
"I would like to put a ding in the universe," said Jobs in a past speech. Inventor of industry-changing devices such as the iPad, iPod, and iPhone and items that were at "the intersection of art and technology," contributed to Apple's current reign as the richest company in the world.
