Beyonce Performs at Jay-Z Concert, Distracted Rapper Forgets Queue (VIDEO)
Jay-Z stunned unsuspecting concertgoers at his final show in Brooklyn on Saturday night when he welcomed his wife Beyonce to the stage.
The 42-year-old hip hop mogul recently put on a series of shows at the Barclays center over a 7-day period. Still, she came out during his final sold out show, which set tongues wagging.
"We just getting started!" Jay-Z told a roaring audience, as Beyonce's "Diva" began playing.
Dressed in head-to-toe leather and a leather Nets cap to honor her husband's basketball team, Beyonce hit the stage with ferocious energy. She performed her smash hits "Diva" and "Crazy In Love," which featured Jay-Z himself. The 31-year-old also added her superb vocals to his popular song "Forever Young."
"What's up Brooklyn!" Beyonce shouted at the frenzied audience in between sets. "I have to say I'm so proud to be here. I have to say a happy birthday to a special friend of mine, Gwen I love you. Can I do one more for ya'll?"
Beyonce's alluring performance allegedly distracted Jay-Z, who was watching his wife's performance backstage, and the rapper subsequently missed his queue while she performed their duet "Crazy In Love," according to EntertainmentWise.com.
"Oh s---, I should probably rap here!" a red-faced Jay-Z was heard saying before he rushed back on stage to begin rapping.
Despite the minor hiccup, the show appeared to be a success. At one point, the usually private couple even made public displays of affection, with Jay-Z playfully slapping Beyonce's backside and kissing her before the crowd.
The entire concert was live streamed for free online and hoards of fans flocked to social networking sites, where they praised Jay-Z's closing show.
"Whoa! What an awesome show. Jay-Z brought Beyonce on stage tonight, best show ever!" Kylie R tweeted.
"Love the show so much, had a blast. Jay-Z and Beyonce sure know how to put on a show," Ryan L tweeted.
"Awesome concert, Beyonce came on stage!!!! Hear Jay-Z caught the subway here LOL" Pamela tweeted.
