Beyonce Pregnant: Singer's Flat Stomach Fuels Fake Pregnancy Rumors

Beyoncé’s pregnancy is in question once again, after the singer appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” performing in a black mini dress with a flat stomach.

Beyoncé performed her latest single, “Countdown,” on the show with no visual evidence of pregnancy. However, the singer’s representatives claim that the show was taped three months in advance.

Controversy has surrounded the singer’s stomach that seems to deflate and reappear in various outings. Before the Fallon show, questions arose about the singer’s appearance on an Australian show last month, Sunday Night HD.

On the show Beyoncé sat down for an interview when her stomach appeared to cave in, fueling rumors of a prosthetic stomach. Yvette Noel-Schure, the entertainer’s publicist, told ABCNews.com that the rumors about a prosthetic stomach were, “Stupid, ridiculous and false.”

Molly Meldrum, the interviewer who met with the singer on Sunday Night HD, shared Noel-Schure’s sentiments on a radio show last month.

“That’s the biggest nonsense I’ve ever heard in my life. She is well and truly pregnant, believe me, and the baby is due out in February,” he said. “People’s imaginations tend to go a bit too wild. She’s a pregnant beaming woman.”

Meldrum, who has known Beyoncé since her stint with girl group Destiny’s Child, spoke about the importance of privacy to the singer who has not spoken publicly about the controversy surrounding her stomach.

“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are very private people. She said nothing until the Video Music Awards and she was starting to show so she decided to tell everyone,” Meldrum said. “A lot of young ladies have become pregnant, Whoopi and others have waited until the time to disclose they were pregnant until they are at least 12 weeks.”

Instead of focusing on the controversy, the Grammy Award winning singer said she is blessed for having a strong support system during her pregnancy, contactmusic.com reported.

"We're so blessed to have a great network of friends and family around us to help and offer advice," Beyoncé said.
