Boy Goes Missing From Home and You Won't Believe Where He Was Found (VIDEO)
Those claw machines games offer so much promise, but they're notorious for being nearly impossible to win. Despite the allure of cheap digital watches and Angry Birds stuffed toys, the shiny metallic claw, despite evoking images of the Terminator, has the grabbing strength of not an even an infant.
However, the claw machine at Madsen's Bowling and Billiards gave one Lincoln, Neb. mom the prize of a lifetime: her 3-year-old son who had slipped out of her apartment while she was in the bathroom.
As the mother called 911, employees at the alley dialed police after discovering the boy. The child was freed without injury and reunited with his mom. Police say the mother acted appropriately, and no charges will be filed.
