Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox Sued for Assaulting Photographer

Actors Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are being sued by a photographer who claims that a verbal assault quickly escalated to a physical altercation.

Reports state that the Green and Fox were relaxing on the beach in Hawaii when Delbert Shaw, a photographer, began taking pictures of the couple. Green and Fox allegedly made verbal threats to Shaw that escalated when Fox yelled, "Are you going to let him get away with that?"

Shaw's lawsuit, which was filed this morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court, says that Green then attacked him, causing him bodily harm. He also states that Green threw his iPhone into the ocean. As of press time, the amount of money being sought is unknown.

Green and Fox married in 2010 after dating for six years. They have no children together, but he has one child from a previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil. He recently starred in "Happy Endings" and "The Wedding Band," while she has been at work in "The Dictator" and "This is Forty."

The power couple has dealt with the paparazzi before, and Fox has even attempted to use the media to educate young women about her struggle with low self-esteem and insecurity issues. "I have a lot of self-loathing. Self-loathing doesn't keep me from being happy. But that doesn't mean I don't struggle. I am very vulnerable," she told Rolling Stone magazine.

But at the same time, Fox revealed that she also has a bad temper, which could explain her allegedly egging Green on in the fight with Shaw. "My temper is ridiculously bad. I've had to say to Brian, 'You have to go and stop talking to me, because I'm going to kill you. I'm going to stab you with something, please leave.'"

"I'd never own a gun for that reason, I wouldn't shoot to kill. But I would shoot him in the leg, for sure."
