Bruno Mars Fills Fan's Valentine's Day Wish

Bruno Mars has gotten into the Valentine's Day spirit this week, granting one fan's wish to take him to the prom.

The "Nothin' On You" singer appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show where he was introduced a teenaged super fan, Emily Torres, who asked him to the prom.

Although Mars was unable to attend the fan's prom with her, the 27-year-old made another offer. The "Locked Out of Heaven" singer told Torres that he would provide a dress and take her to the prom right there on "Ellen."

"I'm gonna hook you up with a dress to make you look just as beautiful and amazing as you are and when I come to the city near you I got four tickets for you and your friends so you can see me," said Mars, according to Entertainment MSN.

Mars gave his fan four front-row tickets to one of his shows in her hometown in Michigan in addition to arranging Gucci designers to fit Torres for the perfect gown.

"You're gonna be my guest," Mars added.

The singer then joined Torres on the stage set as an impromptu prom where they danced to Luther Vandross' "Always and Forever," according to Hollywire.com. Watch the video of Mars with his fan here.

Bruno is the latest star to respond to fans' wishes. Last year, Justin Bieber spent Valentine's Day with a young terminally ill fan, Avalanna Routh, by "marrying" her.

An avid fan, Routh met the pop star after starting a campaign on Facebook. When learning about the special 6-year-old, Bieber flew to Boston where they decorated cookies and made valentines.

"Hangin' out with a special little girl #MrsBieber," the "Boyfriend" singer posted to Twitter at the time.

"That was one of the best things I have ever done," Bieber later added "She was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now. #MrsBieber."

Sadly, the young fan died last September, causing an outpour of grief from both Bieber and his legions of fans.

Many other stars have also engaged fans in fulfilling a special wish. In 2011, Justin Timberlake attended a Marines' Ball with one fan that had asked him to via YouTube.

The night became "one of the most moving evenings I've ever had," Timberlake posted to his website.

"I knew I would have an evening that I wouldn't forget… Something I could tell my friends about," wrote the "Suit & Tie" singer. "What I didn't know was how moved I would be by the whole experience."

Following suit, actress Mila Kunis also attended a Marine Corps Ball that year with a fan.
