Carly Rae Jepsen Hacker and Stolen Nude Pictures, Singer Claims Photos, Denies Explicit Tape

Carly Rae Jepsen has found herself caught up in another sex scandal just days after denying her involvement in a leaked sex tape. A hacker allegedly stole nude photos from her computer.

The Canadian singer, who is renowned for her hit single "Call Me Maybe," claims that someone hacked into her personal computer and stole the pictures before attempting to sell them to various media outlets, according to The Sun U.K.

It is believed that Jepsen, 26, received an anonymous tip about the photos in March, which prompted her representatives to contact the Vancouver Police Department to report the cyber crime.

A representative for the Canadian authorities is quoted by the newspaper as saying that an investigation is underway "in regards to a theft of electronic property belonging to Jepsen."

On Tuesday, Jepsen was forced to address speculation that she has a sex tape after an explicit tape featuring a woman who looks eerily similar to her went viral online.

"Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me," a frustrated Jepsen tweeted.

In July, the pop singer was faced with allegations that her naked pictures had been leaked, although these photos turned out to be a 21-year-old model named Destiny Benedict who also resembles Jepsen.

"This is 200% NOT Carly" Jepsen's representative confirmed immediately after the release of the photos.

Jepsen rose to global stardom in 2011 after receiving overwhelming support from her mentor Justin Bieber.

"Call Me Maybe" has attained commercial success worldwide, reaching number one in several countries including the U.S., Australia and Czech Republic. The hit song has won Jepsen several prestigious awards including a Teen Choice Award and a Much Music Video Award.

Jepsen was recently confirmed to be a supporting act for Bieber during his 2012/2013 Believe Tour which begins on September 29.
