Chris Brown Denies Rihanna Rumors, 'Never Broke Up' With Karrueche Tran

Chris Brown has denied that he is dating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna and claims that he is still with his current girlfriend Karrueche Tran, despite reports to the contrary.

The singer is reportedly in France on business and rumors of a rekindled romance with Rihanna began swirling when she was recently photographed in the French Riviera. Although the singers are currently both in the same country, a representative for Brown insists that they are on separate trips and that they have not spent any time together.

"[Chris Brown] is in France to shoot a music video for [the] Swizz Beatz album and Ludacris is in it. It's Swizz's song. [Chris's girlfriend] Karrueche [Tran] is there with him … They never broke up. He is not on [Rihanna's] yacht. There is no Rihanna connection," Brown's rep told HollyScoop.com.

The statement follows weeks of speculation that Brown dumped Tran over her alleged ties to his rival Drake.

Tran, a model, was reportedly engaged in secret business dealings with Drake and when Brown, 23, was made aware of the situation he allegedly ended the 2-year relationship on the spot.

Brown fueled the rumors when he abruptly removed all photographs of Tran, 24, from his Twitter page. The only female photograph that he did not feel compelled to delete was that of model Chanel Iman who is posing happily next to Brown in the intimate shot.

The "Turn Up The Music" singer then flew to France around the same time that Rihanna, 24, traveled which ignited rumors that he left Tran for his ex.

"He's got rappers Swizz Beatz and Ludacris with him and they've decided to film a music video too. It was a last-minute trip, but Chris wanted to see Rihanna. They have this weird addiction to each other and can't seem to stay away," a source previously told The Sun U.K.
