Chris Brown Releases Diss Track About Ex-GF, Rihanna Fans Upset

Chris Brown, 23-year-old award-winning rapper, recently released a freestyle to rapper Kanye West's song "Way too Cold" in which he speaks about an ex-girlfriend that many assume to be Rihanna.

In the song, Brown speaks about the promiscuity of his former love interest.

"Don't (expletive) with my old (expletive) like a bad fur/ Every industry (expletive) done had her/ Trick or treat like a pumpkin just to smash her/ (Expletive) breaking codes, but I'm the password."

Although Brown does not call out Rihanna by name in the song, many assumed that she was the topic of his rhymes, since the Barbadian singer has been linked to a number of love interests after breaking ties with Brown including MLB player Matt Kemp and rapper Drake.

After the song was released, fans of 24-year-old Rihanna realized that the Barbadian singer unfollowed Brown on Twitter. Many lashed out at Brown for releasing the song.

"Chris Brown is childish in that new theraflu song he has talking about Rihanna," one fan tweeted.

"Oh no, Chris Brown. Just no," another person tweeted. "You just shouldn't say that about Rihanna."

Although Rihanna did not write anything directly about Brown after he released the track on Twitter, she sent a tweet of her own saying , "Aw, poor dat #neaux1currr."

The incident took place days after the Barbadian singer tweeted a happy birthday wish to her ex-boyfriend. However, many have speculated about a romance sparking between the two after they collaborated on two songs in February following a domestic violence incident in 2009 that resulted in legal trouble for Brown and a battered Rihanna.

Still, some believed that the two artists belong together, including Rihanna's younger brother. Rorrey Fenty, the 22-year-old brother of the Barbadian singer, told Heat magazine that his sister and Brown were soul mates.

"Rihanna and Chris were great together, they were like soul mates, but it's a very sensitive subject – I just blank it out and I think she blanks it out, too," Fenty told Heat magazine.
