Chris Brown Removes Rihanna Duet from 'X' Album Weeks Before Release? 'They're Done'

Chris Brown is gearing up to release his sixth studio album "X" and a new report claims the singer recently forced record label executives to remove a duet he made with Rihanna.

In January the Bajan singer, 25, confirmed her reconciliation with Brown three years after their infamous domestic assault incident, butin May the tumultuous pair allegedly parted ways again. New reports suggest that Brown, 24, is completely done with the relationship and that he scrapped their duet because he no longer wants anything to do with Rihanna.

"Just saw the working track list for 'X' yesterday — Rihanna is not on there. Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn't allow the record to be released unless they took it off," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"They're still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit. The record hasn't been pressed yet, so things can change, but at this point he's not changing his mind," the source explained.

In March, just two months after Rihanna confirmed her much hyped reconciliation with Brown, the "Fine China" singer revealed that their relationship was going well and assured fans that she would be featured. 'X' is scheduled for release on July 16.

"We're taking it one day at a time. She's a wonderful girl. She's beautiful. She's on tour and our schedules don't allow us to be as close as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album," Brown previously told USA Today.

In May, just two months after his statement, Brown was photographed spending more time with his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. He also alluded to yet another split with Rihanna.

"At the end of the day, she's a young girl. I can't really be focused on wifing someone that young. And I'm young too so I can't focus on that right now," Brown told Australian DJs Kyle and Jackie O when asked about Rihanna.

"I gotta step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be instead of worrying about whoever else is gonna be on my side pocket," he added.

A source claimed Friday that Brown and Rihanna would never reconcile, as he is rumored to be living with Tran.

"He's not featuring Rihanna these days," a source said. "They don't talk. They're done. Nada. Nothing."
