Chris Brown Talks Marriage, Admits Jealousy of Rihanna's Exes

Chris Brown has been promoting his new music and recently opened up about rumors concerning him marrying Rihanna and dealing with her past love interests.

Brown, 23, has been promoting his song "Fine China" and upcoming sixth studio album release titled "X." However, the singer-songwriter also got candid when it came to rumors surrounding him marrying girlfriend Rihanna while visiting New York City radio show "The Breakfast Club" on Power 105.1.

Brown denied the claims that he and 25-year-old pop star Rihanna were planning summer nuptials.

"I'm scared of that word," Brown said about marriage while on "The Breakfast Club." "I'll be honest I'm young."

However, he acknowledged that he is trying to be in a monogamous relationship and does not want to ruin things with the Barbadian singer.

"Temptation is crazy but the risk of losing the rest of it is worst," Brown said on the radio show. "From me being in the game at 15 I've had my fun."

Although Brown got into a relationship with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran after splitting with Rihanna following a 2009 domestic dispute, he clarified the context of his relationship with the model.

"One thing about me and Karrueche is that she was my friend through it all. So it was a friendship more than relationship. Yea I still love her but it's more like I got love for her she's always going to be my homie," Brown said on the radio show. "I just broke it to her like 'look I'm still in love with this person. I love you but it's just hard for me.' I just had to be honest, I couldn't lie anymore."

Still, he admitted that it was hard to watch Rihanna date other people during their time a part.

"I was going through it like 'oh nah this big old baseball (expletive)," Brown recalled on the radio station.

However, the singer said he refused to keep tabs on his girlfriend at every minute while she was touring. Instead, he said the pair are focused on trusting one another.

"But you can't be the boyfriend that's like 'yo what are you doing. Call me when you get to the room,'" Brown told "The Breakfast Club." "I can't be like that. You've kind of got to put that trust out there and hope nothing happens."
