'Conan' Renewed Into 2015: Late Night Host Makes $10 Million
With over 8.3 million followers on Twitter, Conan O'Brien will remain as the host of the TBS late night show through 2015.
TBS announced on Monday that O'Brien would continue with his "Conan" contract through November 2015. The host, whose show airs nightly Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m., has been most successful in keeping a youthful audience.
"Since it premiered in November 2010, CONAN has been a hit with TBS's core audience of young adults, scoring a younger median age than any other late-night talk show," a TBS press release stated.

But beyond drawing a young audience from his previous gig on NBC, which he left in 2010 to join TBS, Conan and his team have also grown in the digital arena.
"When we invited Conan O'Brien to come to TBS, we knew he would bring with him a passionately loyal following of young adults," said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). "Conan and his colleagues at Team Coco have gone far beyond that by making CONAN the top late-night brand in the digital arena."
It has not yet been announced, however, how much O'Brien has agreed to in his renewed contract. The night host was previously making $10 million a year, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com. Whether or not O'Brien will receive a raise for all his digital prowess is unclear.
O'Brien is already making twice that of his NBC competitor, Jimmy Fallon. Fallon is reportedly only making $5 million a year, although rumors have been leaked that the network plans on using Fallon to replace night host Jay Leno. Leno makes about $15 million a year.
