Cool Animated Sequence Builds 'Hogwarts' From Pages of 'Harry Potter' Book
O the fanciful world of Harry Potter. You've read the books, or at the least seen the many movies. Now comes this fantastic little homage to the popular series.
Thanks to a video uploaded to YouTube last week, you can see what one animator has done with the dreamy world, making it come alive using its own pages.
Peter Heacock, the man behind the YouTube account "UnPOP," made a short film in the style of stop-motion.
The video shows a child reading the J.K. Rowling best-seller with great interest, only to be told that it's time for bed and that the book must be put down.
However, as the brilliant artistic imagery shows, bedtime is hardly the end of the story as the pages construct Hogwarts.
On his YouTube account, Heacock mentions his intention to make at least one video a month, presumably in the similar stop-motion style of this little gem.
If this video is a harbinger of things to come, then Heacock's nearly 200 subscribers will be in for many treats ahead. Check it out!
